About House of Grill
The palate of Filipino food is entirely its own, relying on acids and sweetness perhaps more than any other cuisine. The crunchy, indulgent exterior of lechon, or whole spit-roasted pig, is lightened with a dip of lechon sauce made from vinegar, sugar, and a pinch of liver. Savory dishes like pork longganisa (a sausage made of ground pork) and Jollibee-style spaghetti (pasta slicked with tomato sauce and a kick of sugar) are sweeter than one might expect.
House of Grill is a filipino restaurant in Granada Hills, California. It is listed at 16929 Devonshire St, Granada Hills, CA 91344, which places it among the local businesses of Granada Hills that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Google also lists it under restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Granada Hills, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 8 amβ6:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Very generous. Love the food. I didn't post a picture on my first review. I keep coming back and today I ordered their vegetable lumpia. I barely see this big lumpia nowadays on other restaurant; I'm really happy. Excellent service and nice people.

My favorite is their Ube halaya! This time I wanted a combination of their Grilled milkfish and squash veggies. The price is $16- a little bit pricey . The lady who got my order is not friendly as if she is having a rough day, the way she asked me as if she is yelling. Hopefully next time , it will be a better experience. The rest of the staff are nice. If you order to go food, they do not provide plates- first time to hear this.

Most definitely great food and beautiful set up on the turo-turo (point-point) window as long as youβre not expecting a cheerful service from the servers. No complaints about the food and atmosphere but maybe they can do better on giving the joyful and enthusiastic welcome and interactions to customers and supporters. Get a little giddy and lively gurlfwends and give us that weβre glad youβre here type of feeling π

All this for $9.86 Iβd say thatβs a good lunch deal! Super friendly staff, helped me with deciding what I should get. Since this is only the second time trying Pilipino food it sure helped. Taste was great too! I got the fish and Beef and liver... I know, but I like trying new things and it tasted great. The place was super clean too, didnβt not look like some other locations Iβve seen around here. Iβm definitely coming back for more!
